If I stayed with GoDaddy one more day I would have lost control. I was on the phone with them the other day when I needed some help with my DB, l by some mysterious way instead of helping me out with my problem they have erased the DB and then blamed me, when I was not even near my computer. Oh and did I forgot to mention they asked $250 to restore the DB? This is just unbelievable. -Rob.M
I have created a new website and then tried to change it with no luck. I have contacted support several times asking for an assistance, and each time I got the same useless help from an auto responder! I will be creating a totally new website with another host to see how it goes. I guess people have to deal with hard choices every single day. -Fred.C
I run a site for my small company and we have used GoDaddy for many years. They are good at support and uptime, however two days ago they sent us an email saying that they can no longer store any files on the server that do not relate to our website, first time I hear such thing. They gave us one day to back up everything and delete it, or they would do that instead. So because most of our staff was on vacation that day, GoDaddy deleted the files and now asks money to restore them. For us it means to go find another host, for them it means one less happy paying customer. GoDaddy prices are not so cheap, $13 a month for the server is pretty a lot. We are now considering Pair.com, it’s a bit more expensive but they are very trustworthy. -Nick.H
I use GoDaddy servers for my business website for 6 months now, in the last month however things have gone terribly wrong. At first my website was blocked because I had a shared IP, I then upgraded to dedicated IP to fix that and they moved my website to a new server, now today that same server crashed, it suppose to be a new server! Support staff told me that they are working to fix that problem but they can’t give an estimate when it will be resolved. This is bad for my business but I hope things turn out good. -Mike.S
