Just Host pays people to write reviews on web hosting review sites so most people just read these reviews as if it was the real thing, but it’s not and people are being ripped off for cash with no real return. There’s a $20 fee for setting up your account when you sign up, they never mention it – so watch out. There’s a lot of misunderstanding between their customer support and tech support, in the end I feel like there are more questions than answers! Their email support by the way is a simple auto responder for every question you have, it’s stupid and useless! I have tried to cancel my account and none of the methods work! Many of the reviews for cheaper but high rated hosts are too good to be true. InMotion is not cheap, but it’s affordable. When I called them they were very kind and answered any question I had. My website is not live yet, it’s just a static page, but I do use email and I am able to check it on my mobile phone and on PC. If I stayed with GoDaddy one more day I would have lost control. I was on the phone with them the other day when I needed some help with my DB, l by some mysterious way instead of helping me out with my problem they have erased the DB and then blamed me, when I was not even near my computer. I run a site for my small company and we have used GoDaddy for many years. They are good at support and uptime, however two days ago they sent us an email saying that they can no longer store any files on the server that do not relate to our website, first time I hear such thing. They gave us one day to back up everything and delete it, or they would do that instead. So because most of our staff was on vacation that day, GoDaddy deleted the files and now asks money to restore them. For us it means to go find another host, for them it means one less happy paying customer. GoDaddy prices are not so cheap, $13 a month for the server is pretty a lot. We are now considering Pair.com, it’s a bit more expensive but they are very trustworthy. -Nick.H

I use GoDaddy servers for my business website for 6 months now, in the last month however things have gone terribly wrong. At first my website was blocked because I had a shared IP, I then upgraded to dedicated IP to fix that and they moved my website to a new server, now today that same server crashed, it suppose to be a new server!
